This vocabulary set is based upon Modern Standard Italian and the use of dialect is avoided. The set is comprised of 1000 words arranged in English alphabetical order. Each card is numbered and contains a primary English word in boldfaced print followed by an identifying part of speech. Corresponding Italian words are located on the reverse side of each card. Additionally, use of these cards presupposes a working knowledge of Italian script.
