Language Lotto
Let your children learn a language in a fun and relaxed way through games that naturally rehearse their knowledge of vocabulary. Language Lotto is a bingo-like game that can be played with 2 to 30 players, and makes it easy for children to learn at home or in the classroom. About Language Lotto
Language Lotto Play Language Lotto at home with your children, or use it in your classroom to introduce them to another language in a fun learning environment. Each lotto kit in this series contains a game for 2 to 30 players and comes with eight playing cards in full color, two sets of illustrated vocabulary cards, one grid blackline master, a bag of bingo chips (enough for eight players), and one bilingual vocabulary tape containing the complete vocabulary for the game. The words are recorded by native speakers, and are spoken twice in each language, with a pause after each word to allow time to repeat the word.
The categories covered in the vocabulary tape are Clothing, Things at School, Transportation, Animals, Numbers, Nature, Household Objects, Expressions, Colors, Days of the Week, and Months. There are three games in all, two of which have up to eight players, the third allowing up to 30. Each game is a variation of bingo, and several can be played as an interactive game. Language Lotto is appropriate for ESL classes, as both game and cassette have the English translations. This product is on the California Department of Education's approved list of Supplemental materials.
